DINERS CLUB LJUBLJANA GOLF COURSE 

The Diners Club Ljubljana Golf Course is a wonderfully arranged and well maintained 18-hole golf course situated near the capital Ljubljana. It is distinguished for fast greens, narrow fairways and wide teeing areas. The golf course opened in May 2009 and is one of the youngest golf courses in Slovenia.

The design of the course is modern, diverse and dynamic. The main advantage of this course is its proximity to the Ljubljana Airport, which is only 15 minutes away.

The golf course also features a big driving range facility with a well-equipped golf academy (individual lessons, group training, youth schools, video swing analysis, golf fitness analysis, calibration of golf clubs). Guests can also use the cloakroom, the caddie room and a big restaurant Evergreen in the clubhouse. The well-equipped Pro Shop is available as well. The longest hole for Ladies  & Gentlemen is the 2nd hole (519 meters for Gentlemen, and 465 meters for Ladies).

The course is located in the village of Smlednik under the Šmarna Gora hill, at a distance of slightly less than 10 kilometers from the Ljubljana city centre well as the central Slovenian airport.

The golf course offers everything a golfer may expect:
• A nicely arranged and well maintained course with 18 holes and an emphasis on large and well kempt greens and tees.
• The Diners Club Ljubljana golf course consists of six par three holes, six par four holes and six par five holes. Every hole has four teeing areas: a white one, a yellow one, a red one and an orange (children’s) one. Two small lakes are located within the boundaries of the course, which is surrounded by forest edges. The playing fields, however, are broad and widely open, promising an enjoyable game for everyone, beginners included. One particular characteristic of the course as a whole are three large, dynamic and fast lawns.
• The course also offers a brilliantly equipped golf academy (individual lessons, group practice, youth courses, video analysis of the swing, golf club calibration), where every golfer may find something of interest.
